Graduates throughout the United Kingdom often have a tough time figuring out the best way to find their dream job. Many graduates and young professionals spend hours each day crafting their CV, filling out applications, and submitting materials to companies they are interested in working for. However, graduates often overlook the connections that they already have through family, friends, past jobs, and their former university. By networking and using connections to various industries, a graduate can find their dream job.

The first place graduates should go to find their first jobs out of university are past employers or supervisors. Whether it is a marketing firm, a bank, or a construction company, graduates can speak with people they have worked within the past to find great work after graduation day.
